I am in NJ and I was considering purchasing a used truck online from a dealership in Levittown, PA and I was in need of a third-party mechanic who could do the pre-purchase inspection for me. I searched and searched and then came across H&H and boy am I glad I did! I explained to Howard how I was short on time since it was an auction site and I was going to bid on the truck and the auction was closing in two days. He let me know that he was fully booked but that he would try to fit me in the next morning anyway and so the truck was brought to him by the dealer and he did a thorough inspection. He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and very thorough and found almost a dozen things wrong with the truck, all things that were not being advertised by the seller. He took lots of pictures of everything he found and wrote up a detailed report with all of the issues. This guy probably saved me from a huge mistake and I commend his professionalism and just by speaking with him over the phone a few times, discussing the truck, I could tell that he was one of the good ones- kind of the holy grail of honest mechanics that we all go through our life searching for, usually to no avail. I am a perfectionist and of course I am just a random guy on the internet but if I say this guy is good, you can take it to the bank!
